Business Model

Jubilant Chemsys offers a broad spectrum of these services through different business arrangements which best suit the client’s requirements.

a) Fee-for-Service/Purchase Order- A proposal is submitted as a response to the customer based on their requirements or RFQ’s (Compound structures and quantities). Once the customer finds Jubilant’s proposal attractive and confirms the acceptance of this proposal by a mail or purchase order, the project will be initiated by Jubilant Chemsys.

b) FTE (Full Time Equivalent) arrangement- Under this type of arrangement, Jubilant Chemsys will dedicate agreed number of chemists (FTE’s) to work for the client in its laboratories (A typical FTE team structure comprises of 4 MS level FTE’s working with 1 PhD level team leader). This will be further complimented by a senior PhD resource and a Project Management personnel working on execution of the customer’s project.

An FTE arrangement allows our customer to seamlessly interface with the bench chemists and prioritize projects based on internal requirements.

Further Jubilant Chemsys has also added some novel business arrangements based on our learning through customer interactions. These arrangements can help our customers realize their business objectives in today’s challenging drug discovery environment.

1) Flexible FTE- Under this arrangement, Jubilant Chemsys provides the option to vary the number of FTE’s our customers wish to deploy during the course of the project subject to the customer meeting the minimum agreed annual FTE deployment.

Through such flexibility, our customers are able to scale-up or scale-down FTE count on the project rapidly thereby allowing them to address the project requirement/end goals without compromising on the timelines.

2) Hybrid FTE- Under this type of arrangement, Jubilant Chemsys will offer its customer to use FTE’s across chemistry and biology (Offered through our sister concern Jubilant Biosys) depending on the nature and requirements of the project subject to the customer meeting the minimum agreed annual FTE deployment.

The Hybrid FTE allows our customer to work with Jubilant Chemsys as a one stop shop for all services required by the customer in ensuring timely project progression through the drug discovery phase.
